Dexter Werner to play pro basketball in Germany

Bismarck native and former North Dakota State basketball player, Dexter Werner has signed to play professional basketball in Germany.
The 6'6" forward will be playing for SSV Lokomotive Bernau in Germany’s Pro-B division.
While at NDSDU, Werner earned All-Second Team All-Summit League honors his senior season, while averaging 9.5 points with 6.4 rebounds per game.
The German team Werner signed with had the best season in the Pro-B division last year. Their basketball season runs from late September through April.
