DSU Football All-Americans

It was quite the run the Dickinson State Blue Hawks had this year on the football field. While they didn’t make it further than the NAIA Quarterfinals, they put on quite the performance for their fans; and from that, seniors Jay Liggins and Cain Boschee have both been named to the AFCA NAIA All-American team.

Liggins was named to the first team as a defensive back, as it’s his second time receiving this honor. He finished his career at DSU with 14 interceptions, eight being from just this season, and set the Dickinson State record for most interceptions in a single game, that was four in the game versus Northwestern.

Boschee was named to the second team as a defensive back for the second time as well. Boschee finished his career tied for first all-time interceptions, as he had 24, returning seven of them for touchdowns, and was named All-Conference three times.
