Carson Wentz responds to the death of a young fan

(Valley News Live) The Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation posted a special tribute on Facebook to a young fan who lost his battle with cancer.

Message from AO1:

Landon, your light will shine for eternity.⁣

On Tuesday morning, Landon Solberg’s time on this earth came to an end after a courageous fight against cancer. In 2018, we had the honor of having Landon at our inaugural Camp Conquerors in North Dakota. Landon also joined us for a Mountain Movers hunt in October 2018 and returned for Camp this past summer. We also had the honor of Landon throwing out the first pitch at the 2019 Charity Softball game in Philadelphia. He and his family have become a part of our AO1 family.⁣

We are so thankful to have known this special young man and will always cherish the memories we have been able to make with him. His confident hope, unwavering faith and unquenchable joy has pointed so many to Jesus. He is the true definition of a conqueror: in the darkest of moments, he kept his focus fixed on the light — JESUS.⁣

Our hearts ache for the Solberg family and all those who had the privilege of knowing Landon. Let us cling to the same HOPE Landon held so tightly to - the hope of Jesus!⁣

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” - Matthew 5:14
