Capital Ice Synchronized skating teams results from nationals

BISMARCK, N.D. - The Capital Ice Chips and Connection competed this past weekend at the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Plymouth, MI. This was the ninth consecutive trip to nationals for the Chips and the third consecutive trip for the Connection.

The Chips competed Friday in the Intermediate Division against 11 other teams from around the nation. They finished with a Pewter medal. This makes them five-time National Medalists.

The Connection competed Saturday in the Juvenile Division against 11 other teams from around the nation. They finished in Sixth place.

Both teams are coached by Head Coach Becky Gallion. The Chips assistant coaches are Selena Morris and Hayley Bortke. Connection assistant coaches are Aubrie Steinwand and Abby Fisher.
