KFYR-TV Sports Last week, it was for the outright conference championship and the Bison blasted Missouri State 48-7. This week, it's about the senior's and the chance to go through the regular season undefeated.
The Bison play Southern Illinois on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day.
NDSU has 24 seniors that will be honored before the kickoff against the Salukis.
Head Coach Chris Klieman said: "The fifth year guys were out first recruiting class and so they've been with most of our staff for the entire five years and watching them grow and mature and watching those guys that were freshman at one time and just seeing the maturation of all of these guys. They're won a ton of football games. They're all really good in the classroom most of them have their degrees already or are getting them in December."
One of those seniors is Easton Stick. Stick is the player of the week in the Valley after throwing five touchdowns against the Bears.
Stick took over for Carson Wentz and The Bison have won 44 of the 47 games he's started.
"He's probably passed Carson in the college game as far as Carson how many games did he play? 20 or 20 some games. I think Easton has passed Carson as far as what he's accomplished in college and I think even Carson would say that but as far as the mental side of things, once again he learned from Carson," said Klieman.
Stick also passed Brock Jansen with the most total yards in Bison history.
We will bring you the pre-game senior day highlites on the Farmers Union Insurance Bison Football Pre-Game Show which begins at 1:30 CT.
The kickoff is at 2:34 CT on the KFYR-KVLY Bison Television Network.
