BISMARCK, N.D. - The West Region basketball tournament is a little over two weeks away which leaves only two more regular season games for the Bismarck boys, they're both at home.
Despite playing host to their conference opponents before the W.D.A.
The Demons know how much hard work it takes to make that next big step in the post season.
Jordan Wilhelm, BHS Boys Basketball Coach: "I think the second time through the league it's been a bit of an eye opener for our guys. I think they expected it to be easier at times, and it shows that every single night that you need to bring it in our league. The WDA is a grind, every single night, it doesn't matter who you're playing. Whether you're at home or on the road, you need to be able to bring it every night, and I think our guys have had a little bit of an eye opener in the last week," said BHS Boys Basketball Coach Jordan Wilhelm.
Just like every team, the Demons have had their struggles, but the seniors are trying to keep the positivity going, to finish their regular season off strong.
BHS senior Ian Schafer said: "Yeah, just trying to stay positive, you know, and just be energetic and bring it everyday, and you know play every, play like it's your last play, you know just play as hard as you can."
That's what the seniors are planning especially game against Legacy in their final one at Karlgaard Gym.
You can hear more from Ian Schafer tomorrow as he goes in this week's Sports Spotlight.
