Wentz, Eagles agree to four-year contract extension

PHILADELPHIA - UPDATE: ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Wentz's extension is worth $128 million, with $107 million guaranteed.

Schefter says that's the most guaranteed money in a deal in league history.

Went​z's total contract is now worth $154 million over six years.

ORIGINAL STORY: Bismarck native ​Carson Wentz is set to be with the Philadelphia Eagles through 2024.

According to the team's website, Wentz and the Eagles have agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension.

On Twitter, Wentz said he's, "Grateful for this opportunity and excited for the future!"

Wentz, who played high school football at Century before leading the NDSU Bison to multiple national titles, was the second overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft.

The Eagles didn't release how much the quarterback will make.
