MINOT, N.D. – You have the chance to help those battling cancer ‘Fuel the Fight’ Friday in Minot.
Trinity CancerCare is hosting their annual event that helps raise money for those who demonstrate a need and have to travel to and from the facility to receive cancer treatment.
The money raised helps counter some of the expenses that go in to traveling for treatment. More than half of the facility’s patients travel more than 50 miles for each treatment.
Organizers say 15 percent of sales for the entire day will be donated, and all funds will benefit local patients in the region.
There will also be games and prizes.
According to the event’s Facebook page, it runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dakota Square Arco gas station, 1520 24th Avenue SW.
