WILLISTON, N.D. - On Wednesday, the Williston Police Department received a report of a burglary at Saint Peter's Episcopal Church.

The pastor's checkbook, laptop and church donation jar were among the items reported stolen. Later that day, police were called to Gate City Bank for a woman attempting to cash a stolen check for $3,000.

Police say 24-year-old Eden McMurtry was wearing a large hat, a wig and what they called artificial skin on her face in an attempt to conceal her identity.

McMurtry and three other suspects have all been charged with burglary, possession of stolen property, forgery and possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

The Williston Police Department says additional charges are expected to be filed.
