Williston’s first crematory is open
Williston’s first crematorium is open for business.
Seth Coughlin one of the owners of the Everson Coughlin Funeral Home says they offer pet and human services, and say it’s a need because more and more families prefer it over the traditional method.
Seth said, “I’ve been in the business now for about 20 years, and when I first came back to Williston, we were running about a 15 percent cremation-rate. I’d say that rate is closer to about 50 percent now, and it’s climbing.”
He says cremation is cheaper and more convenient if family members aren’t able to travel for a funeral right away. Now that there’s a location in Williston, Heidi Coughlin says families can meet the person doing the cremation, and don’t have to send their loved-ones away to another city.
Heidi added, “Your loved one never leaves our care. From the time that they pass away to the time that their cremated remains are returned to the family, they are in our care at all times.”
The funeral home’s employees are trained and certified to conduct cremations. If you have any questions you can contact the Coughlins at 701-577-3738 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
