Williston man accused of stealing oilfield explosives pleads not guilty

A Williston man charged with stealing oilfield explosives and storing them at his house pleaded not guilty in federal court.

Tyler Porter was arrested last month after authorities found hundreds of small explosives at his home.

The 35-year-old is facing four counts of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of explosives and theft of explosive materials.

His jury trial is scheduled for July 1st in Bismarck.
