This year's Williston Basin Petroleum Conference saw its biggest turnout yet in Bismarck, and it has been announced that the conference will return to Bismarck in 2018.
The Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau showed interest in bringing the conference to Fargo.
The conference will run from May 22 to the 24. It hasn't been announced yet who the keynote speaker will be.
"You're always going to try and take that bar a little higher. We've always been able to put together a great agenda. I think you're going to see a lot of those companies CEO's coming back again. Who we will have for keynote that is a little up in the air," says Kari Cutting, ND Petroleum Council.
The 2017 conference will be in Regina, Saskatchewan.
