Thirty low-income students at Will-Moore Elementary are getting a Thanksgiving present.
The school's faculty and staff donated enough food to make sure they got a full Thanksgiving meal.
That includes turkeys, hams, cranberries, potatoes and stuffing.
“We're with the kids more than we're with anybody else, so to make sure they have a nice Thanksgiving meal is what we're trying to do for them,” said Heather Huus, first grade teacher.
The teachers say Dan’s Supermarket gave the school a discount to make sure the school had enough to go around.
They made surprise house calls to deliver the food Tuesday afternoon.
