MANDAN, N.D. - Today's teachers are using technology more and more in their lessons. But that technology is not cheap.
One Mandan school is hoping to raise enough money at their annual fundraiser to buy more technology for students to use.
Saint Joseph Catholic School upgraded its computer lab with new computers from money raised at the school's Baking Extravaganza and Vendor Show.
Proceeds from the sale of homemade treats, wick-less candles and quilts made by parents and small businesses will all support the school.
"We are exhausted by the end of the weekend but it is so worth it, we do it for our kids," said Missy Mosbrucker, event co-chair.
This year's event brought in around $6,000. That money will help pay for iPads for students.
