United States Postal Service comments on bombing in Texas

The United States Postal Service says it's not doing anything different for operations beyond normal security measures.

USPS is reminding employees to be safe and vigilant.

The Strategic Communication Officer with USPS says reports of suspicious mailings are always taken seriously.

"We really work hard to provide a safe, secure mail system to preserve the integrity of the mail and most importantly ensure a safe environment for our employees, customers, and the American public," said David Rupert, Strategic Communications with USPS.

Rupert says he can't disclose any security measures USPS does with the mail they receive.
