United States Post Office to increase prices

The United States Post Office will increase its prices on all postal service costs starting Jan. 27.

The cost of letters will increase from fifty to fifty-five cents, and small flat rate boxes from seven dollars and 20 cents to $7 and 90 cents.

The post office says the increases is needed to balance day to day costs and improve value of delivery services.
