UPDATE: Water restriction lifted in Granville, boil order remains in effect

GRANVILLE, N.D. – Granville city officials say they are lifting the no water usage order following repairs to the town’s water tower, however a boil order remains in effect.

Classes will resume as normal at TGU Granville Tuesday after they were canceled Monday.

A loss of water pressure prompted the boil order over the weekend, and then city leaders chose to put in place a water usage restriction in order to get the town’s water pressure back.

Residents are still encouraged to conserve water.
