UPDATE: Missing Williston teen found in Florida

UPDATE: A Williston juvenile that ran away in May has be located. Williston Police say 17-year-old Brenda Jacques was found in Monroe County in Florida.

Local authorities say, the Monroe County Sheriff’s office is working with Jacques’ mother to get her back to Williston.

ORIGINAL STORY 5/23: The Williston Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a runaway teen.

The department says 17-year-old Brenda Jacques was last seen May 21 when her mother left for work. When the mother returned, Jacques was gone and had grabbed most of her belongings.

Jacques is 5'6", 130 pounds with black hair and black eyes. She also has a tattoo on her left wrist of a butterfly with the name Guerda on it.
