Turtle Mountain School Board member arrested for terrorizing in Mandan

MANDAN, N.D. - A Turtle Mountain Community School Board member in the Belcourt district was arrested in Mandan over the weekend.

The Mandan Police Department arrested 44-year-old Jeremy Laducer from Belcourt on Saturday for a Friday night incident at a hotel in Mandan.

The affidavit says the victim told police Laducer told her he’d kill her because he wasn’t afraid to go back to jail.

“I’ll mess you up so bad before the cops even get here,” said Laducer to the victim, according to the affidavit.

The woman told police she feared for her life and ran out of her room with her son and Laducer tried to pull her back into the hotel room but stopped when employees intervened.

The affidavit says her son told police there was a prior incident where Laducer got out of the car and told the woman he was going to tie a rope around her neck and drag her behind the truck.

Documents say Laducer denies making any threatening comments towards the woman.

Laducer is charged with terrorizing and disorderly conduct. A judge set his bond at $1,000 in cash and no contact with the victims.

KFYR-TV has reached out and left messages for the Turtle Mountain superintendent but have not heard back yet.
