When a childhood dream comes true, it’s a pretty amazing feeling.
Tommy Iken and 4-year-old Jesse Klaudt Jr. know that first hand.
The two met for the first time this week, all because of their shared dream of playing the tuba. Iken showed Klaudt how to buzz his lips to play the tuba and played a song for him. It was the first time Klaudt had been close to a tuba, and the experience made him love the instrument even more.
“I’m going to be a tuba player when I’m big,” said Klaudt.
Klaudt also got to meet Bismarck High School Band instructor Bob Peske and got his very own Screamin’ Demon t-shirt.
