President Donald Trump signed into law the Fairness for Breastfeeding Mothers Act, which requires all federal buildings to have designated breastfeeding rooms.

The rooms must be free from intrusion, and contain a chair, a working surface, and an electrical outlet.

The law gives public buildings until 2021 to make the changes.

However, there are exceptions for buildings that don't have a room that could be repurposed or a space that could be made private using portable materials or at a reasonable cost.
