Trinity selects new construction firm for new hospital
Trinity Health announced it has selected a new construction team to move forward with the new hospital and medical campus in southwest Minot.
Trinity discontinued its contract with Mortenson Construction of Minneapolis last month.
Now Yates-Northwest Contracting will be evaluating and refining materials and construction estimates to bring costs in line with the project's targeted budget.
Trinity Health's Vice President of Facilities says Yates is one of the top construction providers in the nation, and that the design of the hospital and medical office building is continuing to be refined.
Plans call for a $275 million facility covering 76 acres and featuring ample parking for patients, visitors, and staff. The project is expected to be completed in early 2020.
