Teen arrested for beating minor in Legacy High School parking lot
An 18-year-old man was arrested for attacking a minor in the Legacy High School parking lot on Saturday
Prosecutors say Jeremy Vander pretended to be someone else and arranged a meeting with the minor.
When the victim arrived, a group of three individuals, including Vander, attacked him with a baseball bat, and their fists and feet.
The affidavit says the boy received medical attention for his injuries.
Vander was charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault. His bond has been set at $5,000 cash and is to have no contact with the victim.
Two minors were also charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault in relation to the attack.
