MINOT, N.D. – Minot Police say they have arrested a 29-year-old man suspected in a string of gas station robberies in the past few weeks, after two more incidents Monday afternoon.
Police arrested Jordan Groninger for three counts of B-felony robbery and one count of C-felony burglary.
Police say they received a report shortly before 3 p.m. Monday that someone tried to rob the Racers gas station at the corner of 37th Avenue SW and 16th Street SW. The report indicated the suspect fled but did not get away with any money.
At 4:20 p.m. police responded to a report that a suspect jumped the counter at the Quality Inn, took money, and fled.
Police identified Groninger as the suspect and located him in northwest Minot.
They have tied Groninger to the robberies at a Shell gas station on June 23 and a Mobil gas station on June 30.
Groninger remains in custody in the Ward County Jail pending his initial appearance.
Police say no one was hurt in any of the incidents.
