Sunday business group changes tactics

North Dakota Open on Sundays, a group aiming to repeal North Dakota's Sunday Blue Laws, is changing tactics.

They say it will stop collecting signatures for an initiated measure and instead push to reintroduced another bill in the legislature next year to remove the ban on retail shopping before noon on Sundays.

Proponents needed to collect more than 13,000 signatures to force a vote, but they had only gathered about 5,000.
