MORTON COUNTY, N.D. - A sting led to large seizure of marijuana, LSD and ecstasy.
Morton County Court documents say a tracking device was legally placed on 24-year-old Megan Isaak’s vehicle.
Documents state in April of 2019, law enforcement followed her to a storage unit in Mandan that held drugs and money.
Documents say law enforcement saw her stop at the unit and then proceed to drive west on I-94.
Documents state Isaak was pulled over for a traffic stop and Isaak admitted there was more than $150,000 in cash in the vehicle.
An affidavit says law enforcement then went back to the storage unit and found more than 170 pounds of marijuana. If sold in 3.5 gram increments, it would be worth more than $1 million. Officers also found ecstasy, more than 900 grams of THC wax and 99 doses of LSD.
A court affidavit says Isaak admitted the marijuana came from Humboldt County, CA.
Also in the affidavit Isaak confessed to selling more than 1400 pounds of marijuana in one year.
Isaak was charged with possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy to deliver, and possession.
