Snow plow gets rear-ended in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - A car crashed into a snow plow on I-29 in Grand Forks county Sunday afternoon, according North Dakota Highway Patrol.

A snow plow was going south in the left-hand lane and median actively plowing. A 2004 Nissan Titan pickup was also going south in the left-hand lane and rear ended the snow plow in white-out conditions.

Highway Patrol says 3 people in the pickup were taken to the hospital, all with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by highway patrol, who reminds motorists to use extreme caution and reduce speed when driving in poor visibility or white-out conditions.
