BISMARCK, ND - A several hour stand-off in Bismarck ends with a person under arrest and in jail.

Bismarck police say officers responded to a domestic dispute call on the 1100 block of Summit Blvd. earlier in the weekend and left without arresting anyone.

They then returned to arrest a 38-year-old man at around 7:30 Saturday night, when police say he barricaded himself.

Officials say they called SWAT officers to come in just before 10:00 p.m.

Authorities say the situation ended at about 1 a.m. when the man gave himself up without further incident.

Police charged him with menacing, interfering with a 911 call, and simple assault.
