BISMARCK, N.D. - Senior citizens from Touchmark kicked off St. Patrick's Day a few days early by heading out for a pub crawl.
Starting the night off at the Starving Rooster, folks made their way to the Blarney Stone Irish Pub where they were joined by a fiddler and two Irish dancers all students from the University of Mary.
Destiny Sisk the Life Enrichment/Wellness Director says it's an exciting social event for the participants and the R-S-V-P list is full every year.
Sisk said: “You don't always see seniors walking downtown from bar to bar. So it's kind of getting out into the community and just enjoying the local establishments around town and having some drinks, it's pretty fun.”
Resident Carole Christianson says she looks forward to the event every year.
