BISMARCK, N.D. - The V-F-W received an update from Senator John Hoeven on what's coming up next for America's veterans.

The V-A Mission Act was passed recently. Senator Hoeven says the bill will make health care more accessible for veterans. He is watching to make sure it gets implemented properly.

"They put their life on the line for us. A lot of times they come back with injuries or other challenges as a result of that service, serving in combat. That's why it's so important that we have this access to health care for them," said Senator John Hoeven, (R) North Dakota.

Senator Hoeven says he plans on reintroducing the American Aviator Act, which will offer flight training for veterans that want to become pilots after service.
