ECKLESON, N.D. - A reminder tonight from the North Dakota Highway Patrol to give snow plows some room to clear the roads.
This comes after a semi struck a snow plow on interstate 94 last night. The Highway Patrol says it happened at about 10:30 last night.
A NDDOT snowplow was clearing snow from the westbound driving lane and shoulder on I-94 near Eckleson when a semi attempted to pass the plow. The semi drove into the snow fog created by the snow plow and sideswiped the snow plow.
The semi driver, 63-year old from Bismarck was cited for striking the snow plow. He was not injured in the crash, but his semi sustained disabling damage. The 38-year-old driver of the snow plow was not injured. The plow had moderate damage.
