BISMARCK, N.D. - The second K-9 team from the Bismarck Police Department will appear in Wednesday’s episode of "America’s Top Dog" on A&E.

Officer Joseph Benke and his partner Mesa will compete at 8 p.m.

Earlier this month, officer Benke said appearing on the show was something he will never forget.

"Going through it, it was a lot of fun, and knowing that I might not get an opportunity like that ever in my life, it's something I will cherish," said Benke.

Another Bismarck officer, Dan Salander and his K9 partner Bala competed on Feb. 19. They were eliminated after the first round.

In January, Fargo Police Officer David Cochran and his K9 partner, Falco, won their competition and will compete in the finale.
