BISMARCK, N.D. - Safety Village is welcoming more children than ever before.
It teaches 5 and 6-year-olds about playing it safe around cars, on playgrounds, and emphasizes what to do in case of a fire. The hands-on activities includes a song, making it easier for youngsters to remember what to do. Two hundred and fifty children have participated in the first several sessions this summer.
“I believe the word is getting out because parents are spreading the word what an excellent program it is and how happy they are with it,” said Trish Bahm, Safety Village teacher
There are still some spots open in the sessions in July.
