MANDAN, N.D. - According to AAA more than 112 million American's traveled during the 2018 holiday season and that number is expected again this year.
Prairie Patriot owner, Josette Severson in Mandan, says she gets a lot of questions on how to travel through airport security with firearms or personal protection tools, like a taser.
A TSA official demonstrated how to properly secure firearms.
"Patriots across the country take their personal protection seriously and when they travel from point A to point B, they know they don't want to leave behind their personal protection devices. So, they want to be good citizens and follow the rules," said Severson.
According to the TSA website, laws about traveling with firearms can vary by local, state and international governments. For a list of firearms rules check the TSA website.
