BISMARCK, N.D. - The Badlands Region SCCA started its first Bismarck seasonal race this morning at the BSC Community Bowl.
Drivers tested their timing and agility through a set course. The best overall time wins the race. Event organizers say it can be educational and is not just about a need for speed.
"Where else can you go and stand on the throttle, stand on the brakes and learn what your vehicle is going to do. So, it gives you a little edge for vehicle control also if you're out in the real world," said Kent Picard, Event Director.
More than 50 racers were in each heat. For more information, visit our website.
