Runnings grand opening

Runnings in Mandan opened it's new and bigger store today.

The store now occupies the 32,000 square foot building on west Main Street. The building has been empty for more than six years while city officials tried to figure out what to do with the property.

Previous attempts to create a rail yard or events center were unsuccessful. The Runnings was previously on Memorial Highway; this new, bigger store created new jobs. The store hired 20 new employees.
