Raising money for Nebraska

The North Dakota Stockmen's Association and the Stockmen's Foundation are collecting $10,000 to create the "Nebraska in Need Disaster Relief Program."

“Our goal is to gather those funds and pass along 100 percent of those and in their entirety to our like organization, Nebraska Cattlemen. And those dollars will go to those farm and ranch families that are suffering those losses to help get their heads above water, literally, and rebuild those livestock operations and infrastructure that they've lost,” said Julie Ellingson,North Dakota Stockmen’s Association.

Ellingson says hay and supplies are needed as well and that all donations are tax deductible.
