RV driving school offered as part of the Family Motor Coach Association

MINOT, N.D. - Education is a big part of the Family Motor Coach Association. One of the education tools at this year's rally at the at the North Dakota State fairgrounds is a RV driving school.

A motor coach has its own set of challenges and there is no law requiring divers to take lessons beforehand. The RV driving school says their goal for the students is for them to learn how to operate an RV safely.

"Very large vehicle most of the time. It is a little different than a car. You have a lot more weight a lot more length to deal with. Going around corners and those kinds of things. So it is very helpful to have the instruction,” said Steve Medlin, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Medlin says some of the common challenges RV drivers face are right turns and backing up. Visit RVschool.com to find out more on how you can take an RV driving class.
