Pride of Dakota Showcase comes to Bismarck

BISMARCK, N.D. - Hundreds of North Dakota companies are at the Bismarck Event Center for this year's Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcase. The three-day event helps grow local brands of crafts and food.

The Department of Agriculture says this year's event is a record year with 230 different companies and they hope that translates to record attendance from the public.

All the goods are made or manufactured in the state of North Dakota. Part of the draw is that there's something for everyone. This year, the admission is free because of a sponsorship from the Bank of North Dakota College SAVE Plan.

“These aren't items that are just bought in China and resold today. So it's going to be something that's had some sort of craftsmanship by one of the Pride of Dakota companies,” said Kara Haff with the North Dakota’s Department of Agriculture.

Showcase hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
