Pres. Trump tabs Traynor for North Dakota U.S. District Court seat

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald Trump is appointing Devils Lake attorney Dan Traynor to the U.S. District Court for North Dakota.

Traynor will take over for chief Justice Daniel Hovland, who’s taking senior status this year.

The Senate must confirm Traynor’s nomination.

Traynor is also a member of the State Board of Higher Education.
