BISAMRCK, N.D. - Bismarck and Mandan leaders are preparing for the next 25 years of transportation.
The Arrive 2045 transportation plan is looking to see what projects need to happen over the next couple decades so the area is ready for the growth that's expected to happen.
In the first round of public meetings, planners with the consulting firms are giving the public a chance to say what they want to see happen.
"These workshops that we're doing today and tonight are really about getting the community involved and help giving them a sense of how do we start to identify projects where do we have needs,” said transportation planner Wade Kline. “And so it's really more of an educational and interactive exercise.”
The last summit is being held tonight from 6 to 8 at Mandan City Hall.
