Possible recount for Mandan city commissioner

MANDAN, N.D. - According to the Secretary of State's website, there may be a demand recount for the Mandan city commissioner.

In a primary election, a demand recount can occur when any individual fails to be nominated by more than one percent and less than two percent of the highest vote cast for a candidate.

As of 9:20 Tuesday evening, Dennis Rohr led with 846 votes, closely followed by Amber Larson, 783 votes, Shauna Laber, 767 votes, and Ashley Kelsch, 734 votes.

All 12 precincts are accounted for.
