A Minot man accused of exposing children to drugs and alcohol at a house party in March will avoid jail time after striking a plea deal with prosecutors.

Prosecutors charged 48-year-old Todd Behm with five misdemeanor charges stemming from the March 23 party in the 3800 block of Highway 2/52 West.

Investigators found marijuana, methamphetamine, and other drug paraphernalia throughout the house.

They found more than 30 people in the home, many of which were minors.

Behm pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of methamphetamine, and was ordered to a suspended one-year sentence.

The other charges were dropped.

He'll also serve two years of supervised probation and must undergo a chemical dependency test.
