A Donnybrook woman who originally pleaded not guilty to three C-felonies and one misdemeanor charge changed her plea in court Wednesday morning.

Thirty-three-year-old Kristin Keel changed her plea to guilty to the felony fraud and forgery charges, as part of a deal that dropped the misleading law enforcement misdemeanor.

She admitted to making up a fake Make-A-Wish campaign in the name of a sick child to purchase new playground equipment in Donnybrook, a town roughly 40 miles northwest of Minot.

Judge Richard Hagar sentence Keel to serve fourteen days in the Ward County Jail and pay $1,050 in fines and fees.

Keel, who is still out on bail, is to report to the jail on Sept. 16.
