BISMARCK, N.D. - The year 2045 may seem like it's a long ways away, but plans are already underway for keeping traffic moving decades from now.
Last fall, the Bismarck Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization launched Arrive 2045. On Wednesday, it hosted a second set of public input meetings to make sure the plan they're coming up with fits what the community wants.
“We've kind of prioritized things based on both technical need, goals and objectives, things they told us in the fall we just want to kind of check that with the public to make sure that we have it right,” said Wade Kline, KLJ project manager.
Kline says they expect to host public meetings again in the fall with a draft plan of the project.
