MINOT, N.D. - Members of the group dedicated to preserving and restoring pheasant populations in North Dakota gathered at the State Fair Center Friday night for their annual fundraiser.
‘Pheasants for the Future’ held its 37th annual banquet, with a dinner, live and silent auctions, and a bb gun shoot for the kids.
As winter winds down, members are now getting into the seeding season.
“Tonight's event is just strictly just to get everybody out here, to have a good night, help us raise money for pheasants. You can come here, you can sign up for pheasants. We send pheasant chicks out to your doorstep between May and July. You raise the birds, we give you some feed to help us raise pheasants,” said Ben Goodman, Pheasants for the Future president.
If you want to get involved, ‘Pheasants for the Future’ will hold its Rooster Tail Walleye Tournament May 11 at the New Town Marina.
