BISMARCK, N.D. - The naming of Custer Park is an item on the agenda for Thursday’s Park Board meeting, striking a strong response from residents.

Board members will listen to public comment at this meeting before they decide to keep the name, change it or delay the decision.

“We want public input. We are an elected official, and so we want to hear from the people. That’s important,” said Park Board Vice President Julie Jeske.

The meeting will be held at 5:15 p.m. Thursday in the City/County Building.
