Pair of arrests following weekend gun incidents in Minot

Minot Police say they have arrested two men following a series of gun incidents in Minot late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

Police say they responded to a report of gunshots in the 1500 block of Terrace Drive around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, and while on scene, a second report of shots fired came in around 12:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of Landmark Circle.

Police arrested a 28-year-old man for attempted murder, as well as eight counts each of reckless endangerment and terrorizing.

Officers arrested a second 26-year-old man after a third report of a man pulling a gun on a resident at an apartment complex in the 1500 block of 12th Street NW.

Investigators say they believe the second man fled from the scene of the original shooting. They arrested him for terrorizing, false information to law enforcement, possession of ecstasy, and possession of certain firearms prohibited.

No one was hurt in any of the incidents.
