A two-vehicle crash kills one man from montana working on the roads

MANNING, ND - The crash happened just before 5 p.m. 2 miles south of Manning.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 40-year-old man from Kalispell, Montana was parked on the side of the road providing traffic control for a hazmat cleanup crew.

A 29-year-old Washington man was traveling north when he rear ended the parked car and pushed it off the road and into the ditch.

Officers say the 29-year-old was send to CHI St. Alexius in Dickinson for injuries.

The other driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
