BISMARCK, N.D. - The oil industry recovered after a drop in production in February.
It was up by 55,000 barrels per day, but not high enough to set new records.
Natural Gas broke new marks again in March, with 2.8 billion cubic feet per day.
"Most of the first half of March was well sub-zero and in fact around March 9 and 10, wind chills were fifty below in the oil patch and there was literally nothing moving so the first half of March really put a dent in production," said Lynn Helms, Mineral Resources Director.
Helms says he expects record numbers for April.
